Below you will find a list of the questions I get asked on a regular basis.

Bonding is a safety earth connection to the pipework in your home. It is important that this vital safety element is in place before we undertake any electrical works. Not every home needs bonding but we will advise if it does when we visit to quote or to undertake work. If you need any more information please visit my helpsheet regarding earth bonding.

YES. Anyone carrying out electrical installation works should give you an electrical certificate.
Most works do require certification from your local electrician but some works do not.
Works that do not are generally accessory changes i.e. swapping a plastic socket for a steel socket.

We can advise if your consumer unit will need updating if you can supply us with a picture of the current consumer unit, from this we can recommend if anything needs updating and provide a free quote for the work needed.

An electrical inspection is recommended when moving to a new property. We can inspect and test your electrics and produce a thorough report on its condition, safety and any improvements that are recommended. This will take a few hours and the cost will depend on the size of the property and the size of your fuseboard/consumer unit.  Please call us for a quote.
